Limited to 8 participants
Students will work with words, images, and/or lines to create their photograms, which are camera-less images. They will create images that combine both forms of objects and the written word. As a special note, this workshop is in time for Valentine's Day and celebrates love and friendship. Snacks provided. No prior darkroom experience necessary.

Come out to the countryside of Alcocer, 15 minutes outside San Miguel de Allende, Mexico
Photograms: Create stunning images instantaneously without a camera by laying objects on photographic paper and exposing them to light.
Analogue Film Photography: Create old school silver gelatin prints using 35 mm film and photography paper.
In our 2 day workshops you will:
Create stunning images with or without a camera
Learn black and white darkroom printing techniques
Stimulate your creativity
Gather natural objects from nature
Learn the history of photograms, exposure basics, pictorial composition
Transportation from and to Office Depot will be provided 15 minutes before and at end of class.
We will be walking outside and using a darkroom in the basement one flight of stairs down from ground level.
Please wear comfortable shoes and clothing.
Please bring a hat, apron, plastic gloves, and hand towel.
Snack is provided during mid-day break. Please alert us of any dietary restrictions.
Photographs of class and student work may be used for publicity purposes.
Cancellation Policy: Up to 2 weeks before date of workshop, there will be a full refund minus a 5% processing fee. Cancellation 1-2 weeks before date of workshop, there will be a 50% refund. No refunds with a week prior to workshop.
